Auszeit – Time out

Meine lieben Blog-Besucher. Ich muss mich leider im Moment aus familiären Gründen aus dem Internet zurückziehen. Dies fällt mir nicht leicht und ich vermisse Euch alle sehr, nur geht es im Moment leider nicht anders. Ich habe zurzeit keinen Computer und auch kein Telefon. Sobald sich hier alles geregelt hat, bin ich wieder da. Wann das sein wird, ist leider noch nicht bekannt. Ich danke für Euer Verständnis, bis bald. Ich wünsche Euch allen ein wunderschönes Jahr 2009.

Dear Blog visitors. Unfortunately I can not blog and  be in the internet due to private reasons. This is not easy for me and I miss you all so much but at this time I can not change. At the moment I do not have neither computer/laptop nor telephone. Immediatley I have solved my problems I will be back. The point of time I can return to you is not known yet. I thank you for your understanding, Hugs. I wish you all the best for 2009.

SaWo No. 14 – Be in Spotlight

Diese Woche dreht sich bei SaWo alles um die Spotlight-Technik. Und: Ihr könnt einen einmalig tollen Preis, gesponsored von Paperbasics gewinnen !

Also habe ich den Tim-Holtz-Stempel gewählt, auf das Motiv einen Kreis gezeichnet und nur innerhalb dieses Kreises mit Pastell-Kreiden und Distress-Kissen coloriert, um den Spotlight-Effekt zu erzielen. Dies ist also mein Beitrag:

So, I have stamped an image of Tim Holtz, drawn a circle on it to colorate the image within this circle with soft pastells as well as with Distress ink to create this spotlight-effect. So, this is my entry:

Stamp with Sarah Kay – A Spoon full of Sugar

Es gibt eine neue Sketch-Challenge, die sich nur mit Sarah Kay Motiven beschäftigt – Stamp with Sarah Kay. Da ich meinen ersten Sarah Kay Stempel bei Paperbasics gekauft habe, wollte ich doch auch mal mitmachen… Außerdem möchte ich diese Karte bei A Spoon Full of Sugar einstellen, diese Woche mit dem Thema “One for the Girls”, bei dem dieses Mal auch ein Sarah Kay Stempel benutzt werden darf…

I found another sketch-challenge which just works with stamps of Sarah Kay, called Stamp with Sarah Kay. I bought my first Sarah Kay stamp a few days ago at Paperbasics and so I´m able to participate this challenge… Additionally I would like to participate with this card at A Spoon full of Sugar – their theme is called “One for the Girls” and you are allowed to use a Sarah Kay stamp this week…

Crafty Monkeys – Summertime – No. 2

Wenn man zwei Töchter hat, dauert es nicht lange und die Eine will genau das machen, was die Andere gerade getan hat. Also hat sich auch unsere Jüngste (3 Jhr) rangesetzt und eine Sommerkarte für Crafty Monkeys gestaltet. Auch sie hat die Papiere selber ausgewählt, die Tilda ausgemalt und sich eine Blume ausgesucht. Zwar hat sie nicht matten wollen, dafür aber die Papiere in anderer Form ausgewählt und die Blume irgendwie sehr eigenwillig platziert… ;o)

If you have two daughters it is only a matter of time that one would like to make the same as the other has done before. So, our youngest daughter (3 yrs) decided to create a summertime card too for Crafty Monkeys. She colored the image by herself and has chosen as well the papers on her own. She does not want to layer the paper but she wanted to cut the paper in different shapes (and she placed the flower in “her” way *lol*)…

Crafty Monkeys – Summertime

Es gibt einen wunderschönen Kinder-Challengeblog, die Crafty Monkeys. Als ich davon erfahren habe, konnte ich unsere Große (4 Jahre) kaum davon abhalten, auch eine Karte zum Thema Summertime zu basteln. Hier ist sie nun, die Papiere hat sie sich selber ausgesucht, Tilda ist selber coloriert und die gelbe Blume soll die Sonne sein. Naja, und gemattet musste auch werden, mit den Worten: Mama, da muss noch Papier drunter !!!

I found another wonderful challenge blog – for kids – it´s called Crafty Monkeys. Our eldest daughter (4 yrs) wants immediately create a card for the actual theme summertime, so here it is. She selected the papers by her own, used watercolored pens to color Tilda and chooses a yellow flower as a symbol for the sun… Yes, and she wants to layer the image too with the words: Mum, there has to be paper under the image !!!

SaWo No 13 – Transfer Technik

Diese Woche wird bei SaWo die Transfer-Technik gefragt. Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten, diese Technik anzuwenden – zum Beispiel per Gel-Medium oder aber auch mit transparenten Klebestreifen. Sicherlich gibt es auch noch einige andere Varianten. Ich denke, es lohnt sich, die Werke, die bei Saturday´s Workout eingestellt werden, anzuschauen und sich Inspiration zu holen. Ich selber werde erst später teilnehmen, da ich derzeit gesundheitlich nicht auf der Höhe bin… Ein schönes Wochenende wünsche ich Euch Allen… !!!

This week SaWo challenges us with another interesting technique: transfer. You may realize this technique by using gel-medium or transculent adhesive tape. For sure there are many more possibilities to create something with transfers. So, I think it´s really worth to visit Saturday´s Workout and let yourself be inspired by all the art work shown there. I will post my creation a little later this week – unfortunately I feel a bit sick right now… Wishing all of you a nice and sunny weekend…!!!

Created by Hand – Pastel Colors

Bei CBH geht es diese Woche um Pastell-Farben – ich habe ein blau eingefärbtes Bild dieser kleinen Schönheit benutzt, um es auf einen Hintergrund aus mit Pastellkreiden gefärbten Stempelabdrücken zu setzen.

SaWo No. 12 – Your Raster Screen

Bei SaWo dreht sich diese Woche alles um die Raster-Technik, wovon es viele verschiedene Arten gibt. Ich habe mein Raster mit Hilfe von einer Karteikarte und Distress spiced marmelade erstellt. Dann habe ich die noch verbliebenen weißen Stellen mit gelber Pastellkreide gewischt und die Motive in die Raster gestempelt. Zum Schluss wurden noch kleine Akzente mit Distress in rot und grün (Flügel und Herzen) gesetzt und fertig ist mein Raster-Kärtchen…

SaWo wants us this week to create something by using the raster-technique. I´ve made my raster by using paper and Distress ink spiced marmelade. Then I stamped the images into the raster. Afterwards I filled the white spaces with yellow soft pastell chalk and put some highlights on the wings and hearts with Distress ink in red and green. So, this is my little raster-card for this challenge…

TGiF No 42 – Geschwister

Meine Bastelzeit ist wieder mal mehr als knapp bemessen, schon knapp eine Woche konnte ich nichts basteln – umso mehr hat es mich in den Fingern gekribbelt, dieses ATC für TGiF mit dem Thema “Geschwister” zu basteln.
