Gothic Arches - Vive la France

Bei den Gothic Arches wird diesmal ein tolles Thema gefragt: Vive la France. Frankreich gehört zu einem meiner Lieblingsländer und ich verbinde damit nicht unbedingt Paris, sondern eher Menschen, Farben, die Art, Zeit anders zu bewerten, Schriftsteller, Kunst, Mode - naja, ich mag Frankreich halt… Das Mädel fiel mir sofort ein, weil die Frisur für mich für die typische, frühere Mode à la France steht… Mein Hintergrund ist mit recht vielen AAI-Farben und Blending-Solution auf Karteikarte entstanden (dies hier ist allerdings die Rückseite)…

Gothic Arches wants us to create an arch referring to the theme: Vive la France. France does not mean to me “Paris” but the people, the colors, the way to understand time in another context, writers, art, fashion - ja, I like France… I immediately remember the image of this little girl cause for me the hairstyle represents the typical ancient fashion à la France perfectly… My background is made by using a lot of Adirondack Alcoholic Ink on paper (and this is the backside of the paper)…

Muttertagskarte - Happy Mother´s Day

Diese kleine Tilda hab ich dieses Jahr zu einer Muttertagskarte für meine Mams verbastelt. Die “Blüte” unter der Seidenblume ist aus Chiffon-Band gebunden, ich fand den Effekt ganz schön…

Small World of Inchies - Wings

Heute geht es bei Small World of Inchies um das Thema “wings”. Ich habe die Schmetterlingsflügel von Poesiebildchen genutzt, um meine kleinen Mädchen zu beflügeln… Der Hintergrund ist mit gaaanz wenig Distress in pink, orange und gelb gewischt, die Schnörkel sind gestempelt mit mit Opak Weiß embosst. Und natürlich hat jedes meiner Flügelwesen kleine Kronen, was sonst passt zu so süßen Mädels… ?!? *g*

Small World of Inchies would like to see our creations integrating wings. I took some butterfly-wings to let the little girls fly… The background is made by using really just a bit of Distress ink pink, orange and yellow, the swirls are stamped and embossed with opak white. And of course every little wing-creature has a crown - what else would fit perfectly for such cute little girls… ?!? *lol*

SaWo - Linen / Leinen & TGiF - It´s all Pink

Es ist Samstag und somit steht eine neue Technik-Challenge bei Saturday´s Workout an, dieses Mal geht es um Leinen-Technik… Ich habe ein Zewa gefaltet, dieses in mein Distress-Kissen getupft und über eine Karteikarte (erst vertikal, dann horizontal) gezogen, so entstand der Hintergrund… Auf das Kärtchen selber habe ich nicht viel gemacht, damit der Hintergrund, um den es ja geht, zu sehen ist….

Und da die Karte auch schön pink ist, passt sie natürlich auch zu Thank God it´s Friday, wo das Thema “It´s all pink” lautet… *g*

It´s Saturday again and this means a new technique challenge at Saturday´s Workout. Today we have to create something with linen-technique. I used a tissue and some pink distress ink and washed over a white card (horizontal as well as vertical) - so it looks like linen… The card seems to be a little bit naked but I made it this way to show the technique of creating the background…

And because of being pink my card also fits to Thank God it´s Friday, cause the theme there is “It´s all pink”…. *lol*

Magnolia Challenge - Decoupage

Bei der Magnolia-Challenge Tilda & Co möchte man heute unsere 3D-Kreationen mit Magnolia-Motiven sehen. Ich habe meiner Tilda erst einmal die Flügel gekappt (sorry), das Geschenk gegen einen Besen ausgetauscht und dann das Kleid, die Schuhe und auch die Haarschleife mit 3D-Pads aufgeklebt (ebenso wie den Besen und die kleinen Tags)… Einen Gruß habe ich bewußt noch weggelassen, da ich noch nicht weiß, zu welcher Gelegenheit ich die Karte nutzen werde…

The Magnolia-Challenge Tilda & Co wants to see our creations around decoupage. I took one of my Tildas, stolen her the wings as well as the gift in her hand and gave her a broom in her hand. The dress as well as her shoes and the bow in her hair are made by using the decoupage-technique (additionally the broom and the two little tags). I decided not to decorate the card with some sentiments cause I do not really know for which occassion I will use my Tilda-creation…
